As you’ll have heard and in light of the current situation surrounding COVID-19, Magento Imagine at Adobe Summit is moving online this year. We’re pleased to say that the popular Contribution Day will also be going ahead as a remote-friendly and completely distributed event! As always, members of the Vaimo team will be coming together to take part in this great initiative. And remember that this event is open to all, so come and get involved!
When?
The Contribution Day will run from 10AM UTC time on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 until 10AM UTC time on Sunday, April 5th, 2020.
Who?
As mentioned, everyone is welcome! All you need to do is complete this RSVP Formand let us know which project you are interested in—simple! Plus, you are welcome to submit your own ideas for projects.
Communication & Collaboration
Yes, the Contribution Day might not be in person, but that doesn’t mean to say that anything’s changed. Here are the three tools we’ll be using to communicate and collaborate our way to success:
The main gathering spot will be the Community Engineering Slack workspace in the #event-global-contribution-day-2020 channel.
BlueJeans will be used for remote video calls, so make sure you have this installed.
And finally, the Community Engineering and DevDocs twitter accounts.

The purpose of this event is to promote collaboration, learn from and teach each other, meet new people and solve problems together. The event is planned to run around the clock for 24 hours giving everyone a chance to participate, no matter their location. The format of this event will include several synchronous online video meetings with collaboration time dedicated in between. See the full agenda here!
