BAUHAUS Sweden started their eCommerce journey 10 years ago and have seen great success since. When they launched their eCommerce platform in 2011, it was the first BAUHAUS online store. BAUHAUS Sweden online store is one of the top 10 eCommerce websites in Sweden, based on revenue, and was selected as the e-retailer of the year 2021 by Pricerunner.

Vaimo has been working with BAUHAUS Sweden since 2011 and has delivered many successful projects to help BAUHAUS Sweden build their award-winning platform. For example, we have developed an independent logistics solution and a separate website for BAUHAUS’ bathroom furniture brand Camargue. We have also migrated the full solution from Magento 1 to Magento Commerce 2 (now known as Adobe Commerce).

In 2018, when BAUHAUS Sweden online store first overtook its physical stores in turnover, we published an article describing more the solution and functionality Vaimo has developed for BAUHAUS Sweden.

BAUHAUS Sweden has a website that serves both B2C and B2B customers. We have been working closely with BAUHAUS Sweden, continuously updating the solution to surpass customer expectations for both B2B and B2C customers.

The B2B customer portal is fully tailored and API session-based. Clients can easily log in to the B2B portal with their social security number and bank ID, and then choose their company. And when registering a new account, the credit company checks are done automatically, significantly decreasing the lead time. They also have access to a large set of payment options, including a BAUHAUS credit card.

The B2C offers a highly-customised, user-friendly customer experience. Starting with automatic stock visibility for the closest store location and personalised back in stock notifications to a convenient on-site track-and-trace and ground-breaking RMA solution, providing great user experience also in the returns process.
